|Description:||Under the direction of the Pool Manager and Assistant Pool Manager; performs basic cashier duties as required and/or basic handling of prepackaged food.|
Pool Dates run from May-2013 through September-2013
Maintains primary responsibility for answering telephones and greeting the public, directs inquires, needs, complaints, and/or requests to the appropriate lifeguard, pool manager or assistant pool manager.
Collection of all customers payments for admission to the pool and/or snacks from the snack bar.
Maintains and prepares accurate opening and closing documentation each day.
Maintains desired working relationship with Parks & Recreation Director, Parks & Recreation Program Coordinator, and City Manager.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all other duties as duly assigned by the Parks & Recreation Director, Parks & Recreation Program Coordinator, Pool Manager and/or the Assistant Pool Manager.
|Qualifications:||REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:|
Maintains a minimum training in American Red Cross Adult, Child and Infant CPR and Standard First Aid certification or nationally recognized equivalent certification.
Working knowledge of basic opening, closing, and cash on hand statements.
Ability to remain calm and act resourcefully in an emergency.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other agencies, and the public.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Age 15 or older and certification in American Red Cross Adult, Child & Infant CPR and Standard First Aid or a nationally recognized equivalent.
