The City of Kyle is conveniently located in the heart of Central Texas, between Austin and San Antonio on one of the State's major transportation arteries, I-H 35. Kyle is situated just 15 miles south of Austin. The City of Kyle is the fifth fastest growing city in Texas with a population approaching 30,000. Just ten years ago the population was well below 5,000.
